Teen car crash victim ‘loved to have fun and make people laugh’

Enfeild residents are remembering a teen resident who died in a car crash in July as a “shining rockstar.”

Megan Davis, of Enfeild, died July 28 after a car crash in Blandford. She was 17.

Authorities say Davis was involved in a “serious accident” at North Blandford Road, WWLP reported. According to her obituary, she was a student at Enfield High School, where she “could be a beast on the wrestling mat.”

She is survived by her parents, three siblings, grandparents, niece and nephews, and her “soulmate” Aiden. Davis and Aiden, also of Enfeild, had plans to travel together, according to the obituary.

Wendy Fisher, a coworker of Davis’ mother, set up a GoFundMe to help pay for funeral expenses.

“This family continues to feel pain and grief I can’t express or completely relate to,” Fisher said in the GoFundMe description.

The initial fundraising goal was $1,000. They have raised over $21,000 as of Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the Davis family asks for donations sent to the Enfield Wrestling Club.

“Megan was a shining rockstar no matter where she was,” her obituary said. “Anyone who knew her fell in love with her.”
